Site Engineer

Newquay

6 Months contract.

\xc2\xa3350-\xc2\xa3450 per day

THE COMPANY
This multimillion-pound company are specialists in ports, harbours, coastal defence, and environmental works across the UK. With a strong order book in place, they are now looking to recruit a Site Engineer for a heavy civil engineering project.

THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the setting out and dimensional control of works, take-offs, monitoring of works and maintaining a daily record of progress, activities, changes, and events. In addition to those duties, you will be expected to identify and report any changes encountered, prepare material reconciliations, maintain drawings/documents to ensure that works are carried out to the latest revisions, prepare, and maintain quality records required by ITPs and produce as-built drawings and records.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be selected for this exciting position you will ideally have an HNC, HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering and a proven background as a Site Engineer on large heavy civil engineering projects. You must also be available to start on a week\xe2\x80\x99s notice and be willing to work weekdays and weekends.
