We are seeking a vigilant and professional SIA Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety and security at our venue, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests while effectively managing any potential risks. This role is crucial in upholding the integrity of our establishment and requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention.

Duties

Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure the safety of patrons and staff. Conduct thorough checks of individuals entering the premises, including bag searches when necessary. Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, applying first aid as required until professional help arrives. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to maintain order and safety. Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner. Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences that require documentation for future reference.

Skills

Strong surveillance skills with an eye for detail to identify potential threats or disturbances. Experience in loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure asset protection. Certification in first aid is highly desirable, enabling effective response during medical emergencies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions during emergencies or confrontational situations. A professional demeanour with a strong sense of responsibility towards maintaining a safe environment.
