Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Shuttle Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently between our off-site car park and Southend Airport. This role requires excellent driving skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance. The Shuttle Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely and safe transportation while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

Drive a shuttle bus to and from our off-site car park to Southend Airport which is a roughly 4-minute drive. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding their travel plans and any changes to schedules. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high standard of safety on the road. Assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings, ensuring a comfortable travel experience. Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly to ensure proper maintenance and safety measures are taken.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid D1 Driving licence. No more than 3 penalty points Driver CPC Card Excellent command of English for effective communication with passengers and team members. Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping. A commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times.
Schedule:

This role is part time. Must be able to work at least 1 day every weekend. This role will be 6 to 7 hour shifts at least 3 days a week.

Shift start time will be 03.30am to 10.30am.

Overtime is available with day shifts and night shifts available.
