Shop Assistant - Part time role with immediate start. May lead to permanent employment.

IMMEDIATE START!

Working in a friendly and welcoming local shop and post office in Solva, your main aim is to ensure that customers have an enjoyable shopping experience and are dealt with in a professional and polite manor. As part of this role you'll be expected to:

Serve Customers (Cash and card payments) Provide friendly and considerate customer service at all times Follow opening and closing checks General cleaning duties Answering the telephone and taking orders Stack shelves and put away orders, preparing & presenting our products Keeping the shop well stocked and looking good Thinking on your feet if there's an issue or problem to solve and be Enthusiastic and keen to learn Food preparation Follow current working practices and routines
Applicants must be over 18. Shift pattern will be evenings and weekends and overtime potentially available.

Desirable: Previous shop working, Food Hygiene Level 1 & 2
