Job Description
Your duties will include:
- Ensure that development and training needs of individuals are consistently applied to create a proactive environment of learning
- Actively encourage individuals and the team to continuously challenge and improve the manufacturing process
- Lead and facilitate individuals and the team to deliver optimal levels of performance on cost, resource and service requirements
- Ensure compliance to company health & safety standards at all times. Ensure all documentation is accurately completed in a timely manner.
- To deputise for the Production Manager in his absence.
- Strong food manufacturing knowledge, with a demonstrable understanding of production
- Demonstrate a desire to question processes and efficiency and to seek change.
- Proven leadership, coaching and management experience and be able to demonstrate people and performance experience
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practice (GMP)
- Knowledge of Hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP)
- Knowledge of hygiene standards and BRC would be advantageous.
