POSITION OVERVIEW




We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London within the Maintenance Department as a Shift Engineer.


Our Shift Engineer is responsible to respond to a variety of maintenance related tasks and will therefore need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including heating & air conditioning systems, as well as electrical and plumbing services. This role requires interaction with guests, colleagues, contractors, service providers, visitors alike- you must be able to communicate effectively and are expected to respond to any queries promptly and efficiently.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS




Qualifications in Maintenance / Engineering procedures or skills desired Relevant experience in a Five-star hotel property is desirable Knowledge of fire, safety, and risk procedures Excellent customer service skills Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills Good command of the English language Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
