YOUR ROLE

Reporting into the Operations Manager the Shift Controller is responsible for overseeing the daily operations during their shift, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves overseeing all warehousing activities, addressing operational issues and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

This is a Monday - Friday role working shifts:
Week 1 - 6am - 2pm
Week 2 - 2pm - 10pm

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Lead and coordinate all shift activities, ensuring targets and KPIs are met. Manage and support staff on shift, including task allocation and performance monitoring. Monitor systems and workflows to prevent and address delays or issues. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies. Liaise with other departments (e.g. planning, stock, customer) to ensure seamless operations. Report shift performance and escalate any significant incidents or challenges.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Previous experience in a supervisory or controller role, preferably in warehousing Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment Tech-savvy with experience using WMS Flexible approach to shift work and problem-solving
