PiLON is on the lookout for a SHEQ Advisor to join our team and contribute to our mission of achieving excellence and "Zero Harm" across our projects!

Ideal Candidate Profile:





We're seeking someone passionate about driving safety, health, environmental, and quality standards across the business. You'll be confident working in a fast-paced construction environment, have a strong attention to detail, and have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.



You'll collaborate with the SHEQ Director, Senior Management, and Site Teams to carry out audits, promote best practices, and support PiLON's vision for sustainable and safe delivery of work.

Main

Objectives of the SHEQ Advisor role:




Report daily to the SHEQ Director Conduct quarterly SHEQ audits on all operational sites Support the delivery of SHEQ objectives and ISO audits ensuring compliance with relevant ISO clauses Produce monthly reports for the SHEQ Forum Maintain and update ECO-online and toolbox talk registers Assist in developing and maintaining safe systems of work Identify and report opportunities for service improvements Support site teams in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance, including conducting site safety tours Escalate Health & Safety concerns promptly and appropriately Promote PiLON's values and ensure GDPR compliance Contribute to the delivery of the company's SHEQ strategy and "Zero Harm" initiative Use auditing software to manage and record compliance data Attend SHEQ Forums and contribute to monthly bulletins



Do you have what it takes to become a SHEQ Advisor?




Solid knowledge of SHEQ legislation and procedures Experience in data analysis, KPI reporting, and administration Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Self-motivation and the ability to manage your workload A customer-focused mindset with professionalism in every interaction Good communication and writing skills Microsoft Office skills



Preferred Certifications

(support can be provided with desirable ones if you don't have them yet)

TechIOSH membership CSCS card (desirable) Fire Marshal/ Safety Certificate Full UK driving license and access to a suitable vehicle Asbestos Awareness Certificate (desirable) First Aid at Work
