Job Description
Alpha Fabrication (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a sheet metal fabricator at our workshop based in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian. We specialise in manufacturing, distributing and installing kitchen canopies, AHU and HRU ventilation systems, and are looking to expand our highly trained team.
Responsibilities:
Operate hand/power tools, machines and other necessary equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components. Fabricate and assemble stainless and mild steel using various fabrication techniques. Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications and are of a high standard. Follow workshop safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area. Utilize mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
Skills/Requirements:
Experience in sheet metal fabrication is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good time management and communication skills. Problem solver. Mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for precise measurements.
Pay:
Competitive wages, paid weekly
