Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join the team at Cooneen Protection, Fivemiletown on a permanent basis. The successful person will manage a team of staff on the sewing floor to ensure KPI's are met and the highest achiveable quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Production Manager to set and meet production goals. Ensure resource and workload is assigned and managed most efficiently to support business needs. Monitor and maintain sewing equipment, scheduling repairs as needed. Oversee training of new sewing staff and provide ongoing guidance. Ensure quality control standards are met. Ensure compliance with safety standards and workplace regulations. Prepare and present production reports to management. Responsible for the line management of Machinists, including performance appraisals To identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility. Any other duties deemed necessary by management. Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security. Maximize efficiency by supporting Cooneen Lean continuous improvement activities This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager & the overall objectives of the organisation.

Requirements

Essential

Experience in a staff supervisory or managerial role Ability to manage KPI's Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes Proficient in the use of the full MS Office suite, including excel and teams

Desirable:

A third level qualification in a relevant discipline. Full clean driving license
