Carrington West are pleased to be working with our client, a major Highways contractor, to find an available and experienced Site Engineer. The role is for an immediate start on a local highway\'s improvement scheme in Essex.What you will do:
As the Site Engineer you will be tasked with all site engineering duties with roads, kerbing and drainage. You will have experience with major civils works. As this is related to a major highways project, previous highways engineering and on-site experience would be advantageous.Duties:
\xc2\xb7Responsible for the setting out of the works and recording the as built details.
\xc2\xb7Ensuring the quality of the works is in line with the contract drawings and specification.
\xc2\xb7Liaising with sub-contractors and recording changes.
\xc2\xb7Accurate record keeping.
\xc2\xb7Management of technical queries.What you will need to succeed:
\xc2\xb7Experience dealing with site paperwork and specifications - RAM\'s, RFI\'s, ITP\'s.
\xc2\xb7Electronic setting out and CAD experience.
\xc2\xb7Highways project experience.
\xc2\xb7Knowledge of document control.
\xc2\xb7Degree in Civil Engineering.
