Setting Out Engineer
to join their team, supporting the accurate surveying and setting out of housing projects to meet construction targets. This hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about precision in civil engineering and residential development.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
site setting out
for foundations, roads, sewers, and groundworks across multiple housing developments.
Perform pre-site investigations, including trial hole excavations and topographical surveys to locate services and gather critical data.
Manage and produce
site setting out information
for internal and external stakeholders.
Complete
as-built surveys
and verify subcontractor setting out work for compliance.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
Proven background as a Setting Out Engineer, preferably in residential construction.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with
AutoCAD
, Robotic GPS Total Stations, and surveying equipment.
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Clear communication skills for collaborating with site teams and subcontractors.
Requirements:
Valid UK driving licence.
