William Davis Homes is a leading privately owned house builder constructing quality new homes for sale across the East and West Midlands. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join its Loughborough based team.

This busy role requires an experienced Setting Out Engineer to effectively carry out the surveying and setting out of the company's housing developments, facilitating the site teams to achieve the company's construction targets.

This is a hand-on role for a self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Key tasks include;

Conducting site setting out for house foundations, roads, sewers and groundworks on multiple housing developments Pre-site investigations, trial holes for accurate service location, additional topographical survey data collection Managing and producing site setting out information for both internal and external use Carrying out site as-built surveys Checking sub-contractor works setting out
The ideal candidate will;

Possess previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer Have an excellent working knowledge of equipment and systems e.g. Auto Cad and Robotic GPS Total Station Promote a high standard of health and safety and environmental compliance Display excellent organisational, planning and time management skills Be self-motivated and able to manage projects simultaneously Hold a valid driving license
