Job Description

Setter / Operator required to join an award winning manufacturing firm, based in Maidstone, Kent area. This is a great opportunity for an expereinced Setter / Operator that has experience working on Moulding machines including Compression, Transfer, Injection and Hand Lay-up in line with the Production schedule to achieve first time quality and on time in full delivery to the customers.

Setter / Operator - Mouding Machines Position Overview

• To set Moulding machines accurately and safely to ensure quality assured parts from out
• manufacturing processes
• To trouble-shoot and correct issues encountered by operators on presses during the manufacture of parts
• To support the Shift Leader and Process Engineer in regularly maintaining TPM processes
• To take all necessary care in terms of Health and Safety responsibilities in the manufacturing area
• To develop operators as requested by Management to develop setting skills of their own
• To contribute to the company\'s continuous improvement philosophy by suggesting and improving setting and manufacturing processes - supporting the Process Engineer in managing the Change Control process when required

Setter / Operator - Mouding Machines Position Requirements

• Previous experience within a Setter Or Operator position
• Experience working on Moulding Machines
• Knowledge of Moulding processes and Materials
• Use of handheld measurement equipment including Vernier Calipers and Micrometers
• Experience or License for use of Counterbalance Forklift Trucks
• Must be based within a commutable distance of Aylesford
• A desire for progression both technical and supervisory

Setter / Operator - Mouding Machines Position Remuneration

• Full time, permanent position
• 07:00am to 16:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 14:45 Friday
• \xc2\xa310.46 - \xc2\xa313 per hour (DOE)
• Pension
