Seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Visibility Configuration Management Engineer to help with troubleshooting ITOM network discovery, collaborating technical teams, and driving innovation.

Role Highlights:

As a ServiceNow ITOM Visibility Configuration Management Engineer, you\'ll be the go-to specialist within our SCM team, focusing on ITOM Visibility. Your mission will involve:

Diagnosing and resolving ITOM network discovery issues and errors.

Bridging communication between our team and technical towers across design and support functions.

Identifying and classifying unidentified devices through discoverable properties.

Collaborating with internal ServiceNow development to craft, test, and deploy new discovery patterns.

Executing both ITOM horizontal and vertical discoveries, enhancing service visibility.

Daily Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Troubleshooting failed ITOM visibility discovery schedules.

\xc2\xb7 Analyzing unidentified device data from ITOM discovery.

\xc2\xb7 Crafting specifications for device classification and discovery pattern development.

\xc2\xb7 Executing ITOM horizontal network scans.

\xc2\xb7 Performing ITOM vertical discoveries using Service Mapping.

Qualifications and Skills:

\xc2\xb7 To excel in this role, you should possess:

\xc2\xb7 Broad and deep experience across multiple technology domains, including network, infrastructure, and application architecture.

\xc2\xb7 A strong grasp of ITIL processes and Configuration Management\'s impact on service delivery.

\xc2\xb7 A keen understanding of how technologies synergize to meet business requirements.

\xc2\xb7 The ability to articulate core Configuration Management principles and their relation to ITIL Incident and Change Management.

Core Skills:

\xc2\xb7 Your skill set should include proficiency in:

\xc2\xb7 IP network troubleshooting.

\xc2\xb7 Event management.

\xc2\xb7 Business application architecture.

\xc2\xb7 Infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux).

\xc2\xb7 End user computing (Windows, MacOS).

\xc2\xb7 Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).

\xc2\xb7 Network architecture (switches, routers, firewalls, OSI network model).

\xc2\xb7 ServiceNow CMDB data model (CSDM).

\xc2\xb7 ServiceNow ITOM discovery & Service Mapping.

\xc2\xb7 Relational Databases.

Beneficial Skills:
