Job Description

We have a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) position available at our established, purpose-built service, \'The Flats\' in Bury St Edmunds which is home to 7 people with a learning disability.

Positive outcomes for the people you support will be achieved through consistent management of the service, cultivating a positive team culture, ensuring your service is a great place to work, acting as a role model and demonstrating good practice to other members of the team. You will proactively manage and develop the team and the quality of the service, being accountable for the rota and budget. To support your service well, you may at times be required to undertake front line support work.

You will join a small team of Service Managers and be supported by the Area Operations Manager.

Experience and knowledge of leading teams within the social care sector is essential for this role and experience of working with people with learning disability and complex needs is desirable. You will need to be competent using IT and will be supported to undertake your registration with CQC.

Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as well as a can-do attitude will be key to this role.
