Service Delivery Lead - Inside IR35 - 6 months - \xc2\xa3650 per day - 100% remote - Managing a team of site reliability engineers

Exalto Consulting are recruiting for a contract Service Delivery Lead for a client, inside IR35, 100% remote working paying \xc2\xa3650 per day. Managing a team of 15-20 Site reliability engineers.

• Monitoring apps and services to ensure they are highly available, reliable and performant.
• Detect and respond to incidents quickly
• Design and implementation of monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of the systems/services
• Use of alerts to notify the team about potential issues or incidents, enabling them to respond proactively
• Establish incident management processes, create runbooks for handling common incidents, and work closely with development teams to identify and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments. Establish change management processes, define deployment strategies, and perform regular testing to minimize the impact of changes on system reliability.
• Develop and maintain tools and automation systems to improve the efficiency and reliability of operations tasks. Experience of automating repetitive tasks, such as deployment, monitoring, and scaling, reducing the potential for human error and enabling faster response times.
• Analysis of system performance and plan for future capacity needs. Monitor resource utilisation, identify bottlenecks, and work with development teams to optimise the system\'s performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure the system can recover from catastrophic failures.
• Work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to drive improvements in reliability and system performance.
• Promote a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing to foster a holistic approach to system reliability.
