Brewster Partners are working with a highly successful client in the services sector to recruit a Service Charge Accountant into their current finance roster.

This role will situate you in a fast-paced finance environment, ideal for a candidate looking to take the next step up in terms of their career. A solid background in finance is to be expected for optimal performance in this role and the opportunity for future progression is also present.

The job

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide accurate accounting support, performing various assigned tasks
• Performing maintenance and reconciliation of client bank accounts
• Management and setup of annual budgets per site
• Ensuring timely payment of suppliers and contractors
• Drafting service charges for individual clients
• Creation of accruals, journals and prepayments
• Analysing expenditure and providing reports on a quarterly basis
• Additional ad-hoc duties

The person

• Previous experience in a finance role will be expected
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to deal with internal and external contacts
• Good working knowledge of IT systems \xe2\x80\x93 specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Study towards a relevant qualification, such as AAT is highly desirable
• Proactive individual \xe2\x80\x93 able to collaborate with others within the team
