Service AdvisorWe are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor to join our Ballymena team. Everyone in our business plays their part in putting the customer first and bringing great customer experience to life, so this is a fantastic place to get your career in motion.About the roleWorking with our established Service team you will act as a reliable and efficient point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional customer service through excellent communication and relationship building. You will welcome customers to the department, organise department bookings for service and schedule work for our Service Technicians.The role also involves prospecting for service work to encourage customers to avail of special offers available and carrying out customer follow up calls to build customer loyalty. This role requires you to promote the service facilities and encourage repeat Aftersales ensuring that the customer is dealt with professionally every time.This role involves co-ordinating with the Sales teams, Workshop, Parts and Service.Key skills:Customer Service Excellence: Welcoming customers, ensuring professional interactions, and handling inquiries effectively.Organizational Skills: Scheduling service work for technicians and managing bookings efficiently.Relationship Building: Conducting follow-up calls, prospecting for additional service opportunities, and encouraging customer loyalty.Collaboration: Working closely with Sales, Workshop, Parts, and Service teams to ensure seamless operations.Promotion and Sales: Promoting service offers and encouraging repeat business through Aftersales efforts.This is not an exhaustive list of duties and the post holder will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties discussed and directed by the line manager.Donnelly Group is an equal opportunites employer.The company reserves the right to expand the short listing criteria to facilitate the short listing processAbout the companyAs Northern Ireland's largest family-owned motor retailer, the Donnelly Group offers customers the best deals on a huge selection of new cars, used cars, and commercial vehicles.   • A full driver's licence as driving duties is involved.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer Literate
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • Previous Customer Service or Service desk experience
