LVC (London Vacuum Company) is a leading provider of commercial and industrial cleaning machinery across London and the UK. With 30 years of experience, we offer expert sales, servicing, and hire of a wide range of cleaning machines, such as scrubber dryers, pressure washers, steam cleaners, and more. We pride ourselves on delivering fast, efficient service, ensuring our clients' machines run smoothly with minimal downtime.

We are recruiting for a Service Administrator as a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. As a growing company, we are continually creating new opportunities, and we anticipate further growth over the next year. While this position is a fixed 12-month term, the successful candidate would be considered for any suitable permanent roles that may arise during the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:



Answer the main office and service phone lines, efficiently redirecting calls or assisting clients with service enquiries. Log breakdowns in our service software and organise engineers to attend site-based repairs. Provide timely updates to clients regarding the status of their service and repair jobs. Process repair quotations and invoices, and communicate them to clients for approval. Coordinate with engineers to support them with additional requests or information they may need. Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage communications and documentation. Manage emails within the service inbox, prioritising and responding to enquiries swiftly. Maintain excellent phone and email etiquette, ensuring professional communication with both clients and colleagues.

A positive, proactive team player. Strong organisational and communication skills. An aptitude for understanding technical diagrams or a willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). The ability to receive and act on constructive feedback, driving personal growth. Excellent time management, punctuality, and professionalism.
