Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations, enhancing their experience through upselling techniques. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the bar area. Maintain an organised workspace, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and bar equipment regularly. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to basic maths principles.

Skills

Proven experience in a bartending role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary skills are an advantage, particularly in relation to pairing drinks with food offerings. A friendly demeanour with exceptional communication skills to engage with guests effectively.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
