Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest services and a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience through attentive service and a friendly attitude.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanour. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and restaurant policies.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong guest services skills with an emphasis on hospitality. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively. A genuine interest in culinary arts and food preparation is advantageous.

Pay: 22,880.00-26,673.80 per year
