Server Platforms Tooling Manager
Knutsford

As a Barclays Server Platforms Tooling Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end management of cross-platform Server OS integrated tooling. A range of commercial and in-house developed toolsets managing a variety of core services including Secure Server Access. This is an exciting opportunity managing a diverse global team of engineers, supporting multiple technology products aligned to the Windows and Unix Server team for the latest Platform Functions.

What will you be doing?

• You will be responsible for the day to day management of the tooling operating environment and control landscape
• Understanding IT Security policies and standards, articulate complex issues using simple terms
• Managing high impact, time sensitive operational issues
• Working in a leadership capacity with the wider team to fix issues as and when identified
• Operating iin a highly regulated risk and control environment
• You will manage internal and external stakeholders / control functions

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Experience of risk management
• Experience of leading multiple location teams and working as a Global Unit
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring controls, operating system secure configuration
• Knowledge of wider privilege access tooling

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience in EMP (Endpoint Privilege Management)
• Knowledge in Cyberark, Chef and ITIL
• Red Hat Linux and Microsoft OS Certification
• Risk and Compliance qualifications

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
