Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, professional and hardworking individual to join our team as a part-time server. We are a restaurant/cafe/bar doing both lunch and dinner service everyday. The Blue Man is a chilled Algerian restaurant, serving authentic small plates as well as cocktails and coffees. Hours are currently 10-15 hours p/w, with the opportunity to increase after training.

Duties

To serve customers in a professional manner To make drinks for customers To clean/keep stations organised and in line with hygiene standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant is necessary. We need individuals that are familiar with professional restaurant service. Must have cocktail/barista experience Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately. Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Understanding of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
