Through continuous investment within our teams, and our facilities, we have grown strongly over the years and established ourselves as a leader within the offsite pre-fabrication industry throughout Ireland and the UK.

Due to continued growth we are looking to integrate a Senior Warehouse Supervisor to support our growing team in our fabulous new Head Quarters based in Banbridge. This post is permanent contract. Role


The

Senior Warehouse Supervisor

is responsible for managing and leading the warehouse team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse. The role involves overseeing stock control, logistics, and team performance while ensuring that safety, productivity, and quality standards are maintained. The Warehouse Supervisor provides guidance and training to staff, monitors daily activities, and works closely with management to optimise warehouse processes. Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential, as the supervisor is tasked with both managing the day-to-day operations and driving improvements in the warehouse.

Hours | 43hrs per week; 7.00am to 5pm Mon to Thu 7-3pm Fri

Key Responsibilities





Team Management -

Supervise and lead the Warehouse team, ensuring smooth daily operations, productivity, and staff performance.

Stock Control & Inventory -

Oversee stock levels, including regular checks and audits, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely replenishment.

Operational Planning -

Plan and allocate work assignments to optimise workflow processes that are in place, ensuring efficient and accurate picking, packing, and shipping processes.

Loading/Unloading Co-ordination -

Supervise and ensure safe loading and unloading of stock from vehicles, optimising processes & managing resources. Adhering to Banksman procedures.

Production & Assembly Support -

Co-ordinate with the production and Assembly areas to ensure that materials are sorted, packed, and allocated efficiently.

Training & Development -

Provide training, guidance, and support to warehouse staff, ensuring operational standards and Health & Safety procedures are followed.

Equipment Management -

Oversee the use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet trucks, reach trucks, order pickers), ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Documentation & Reporting -

Ensure accurate completion of all required documentation (PODs, inventory records, etc.) and provide daily updates to the Head of Warehouse & Logistics.

Process Improvement -

Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations, proposing and implementing changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Communication -

Liaise with internal teams (Stores Administration, Logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth operation and accurate stock movement.

Health & Safety -

Promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations, and conducting regular safety checks.

Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:

Address any operational or staffing issues promptly, working to resolve problems and maintain a productive environment.

Housekeeping:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Warehouse, ensuring a safe and organised workspace.

Additional Duties:

Take on any other duties as required by management to maintain effective warehouse operations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



Essential Criteria

Proven experience in a warehouse or stores supervisory role Familiarity with M&E materials (e.g., cable trays, conduits, pipework, fittings) Understanding of safe storage, handling, and issuing of M&E materials Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics workflows Experience supervising warehouse operatives or small teams Clear communication with site managers, suppliers, and internal teams Competence with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software Experience with stock control, goods in/out, and materials issuing Familiarity with manual handling procedures and lifting equipment An understanding of warehouse and site HSE procedures Forklift or pallet truck experience Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads

Desirable Criteria

Proficiency in MS Excel or other data tools for stock reporting Previous experience in construction warehousing for M&E projects Forklift license (Counterbalance and/or Combi) Familiarity with kitting, staging, and pre-assembly processes
