We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. As a Senior Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised tutoring sessions, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students with diverse learning styles.

Duties

Conduct tailored one-on-one and group tutoring sessions. Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards. Communicate effectively with students and their families to provide updates on progress and areas for improvement. Educate students in various subjects, ensuring comprehension and retention of material. Monitor student performance and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance tutoring skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with GCSE/A-Level children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents. Ability to educate students across chosen subjects, demonstrating expertise in the relevant areas. A patient, empathetic approach to teaching that fosters a supportive learning environment. Strong organisational skills to manage lesson planning and record keeping effectively.

Pay: From 25.00 per hour
