Within Digital, the Enterprise Architecture Team (EA) team plays a critical role in driving the Digital transformation: we set the technical direction for the BT Digital strategy and we are the levers of change desired by our customers. We work across multiple customer units (e.g., Consumer, Enterprise, Global divisions) covering needed updates to products, customer journeys, platforms, 3rd parties, strategic partners, innovation and networks.

What you\'ll be doing

• Recommends as the SME the translation of strategic goals into BT/Digital technology transformation plan and support the pan Digital/BT MDs in forming the outputs needed to ensure execution and delivery e.g. business cases, strategic roadmaps etc.
• Translate Digital architectures goals into a transformation plan and drive the business case to be delivered to pan Digital/BT MDs
• Proactively manage stakeholders so that they are clear on how to execute the architectural transformation plan, the transformation outcomes and risks that they are accountable for, and take appropriate actions
• Have an in-depth understanding of the business, which allows you to lever and drive technology changes into a successful delivery for Digital and BT
• Provide data-driven insight to Digital Architecture leadership team so that you enable effective decision-making that leads to improved outcomes
• Decide on the status of Architecture\'s key delivery plans, the risks to be managed, and the actions to be taken to improve performance. Deliver this to the Architecture LT and relevant stakeholders
• Work across Enterprise Architecture to implement automation and process improvements so we are able to deliver real-time architectural data and technology insights
• Acts as a point of interface to the Digital COO for architectural roadmap and vison led transformation programmes.

• Transformation or other relevant experience with a technical environment, including programme management, analysis, driving processes and managing stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, as well as experience leading a high-performing virtual team.
• Data first mindset: defining a sustainable approach to manage, manipulate and provide insight and technical information to all of BT and Digital on a self-serve basis
• Data driven insight & analysis: Ability to quickly generate hypotheses and see what available data could prove or disprove those
• Stakeholder: Excellent stakeholder management skills, working in a collaborative manner to get to agreed outcomes that are right for our business
• Influencing and collaborative ability: ability to navigate, interact and influence many teams across BT: driving collaboration and outcomes
• Growth Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and being outside your comfort zone. Tenacity and humility to challenge thinking and influence across the organisation.
• Coach & develop: Coach the BT wide architecture and engineering populations on their pathway to adoption of Agile methods (SAFe, SCRUM)
• Excellent communicator: ability to articulate ideas and insights in a succinct and engaging way and capable of engaging and influencing through communications
• Have worked as part of or closely with Digital technology and IT architecture teams
