The Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries\' technical team is seeking a Senior Technician in Post Production to provide support to students, staff, and related technical facilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in post-production operations, including expertise in industry-standard workflows and systems. They should have a strong background in using mass media shared storage equipment or similar, online and offline editing, and data wrangling skills.

Additionally, the candidate should be experienced in operating and maintaining video production servers, shared media storage systems, edit suites, and other video post-production related equipment. In this role, the post-holder will need to be flexible and able to work across the Faculty, delivering masterclasses, inductions, and workshops.

They will also support student work and classroom activities and contribute to the development and delivery of the curriculum in the area of video post-production. The Senior Technician will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical facilities, including video servers, shared storage, and media technology systems, as well as coordinating activities within the respective areas.

This job may be for you if you have: A degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant technical subject or have considerable relevant experience in a technical role; advance practical knowledge post-production edit workflows; have detailed knowledge of best practice related to working safely; and have an eagerness to help our students on their journey to transforming their potential into success.
