We are currently looking to recruit a hardworking, conscientious Senior Supervisor to operate as an integral part of the Production Management Team, to lead the Cutting Department across a range of job functions by managing, monitoring and developing employees and the processes that affect the cutting process and ensuring quality and quantity of products which meets the production schedule.

The Role:

Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated team of production operatives to achieve production demands. Plan and oversee upcoming production schedules to maximise output and minimise delays. Monitor team performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback. Handle any employee relations issues within the department including; disciplinary, grievances and absence. Work closely with procurement teams to ensure regular and accurate flow of raw materials into department. Undertake various administrative tasks and reporting, associated with department. Monitor product quality and identify and resolve any production issues. Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to all safety regulations. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes.

The Person:

Previous supervisory experience (Essential). Strong leadership skills, able to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team. Highly proactive with a positive mind-set and 'can to attitude'. Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives Excellent communication skills. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. A solid understanding of modern lean manufacturing processes and disciplines. Computer literate using MS Packages.
