The role
The School of Chemistry is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to support Postgraduate activities across the School, including support for the Postgraduate Research student community. The role is new to the School and will be varied, covering all areas of UG and PG student admin and working with both students and academic colleagues.
What will you be doing?
Supporting all Postgraduate activities across the School, including both PGT and PGR.
Supervise the work of the Postgraduate Student administrative team.
Support wider student-facing admin team output as appropriate.
Be the point of contact for complex student queries and responding appropriately.
Liaise with academic colleagues on a regular basis to provide guidance and support on processes.
You should apply if
You have experience of working in administration in Higher Education, with strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively towards close deadlines.
You have excellent customer service skills and can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
