Job Description
Lead SRE Job opportunity for a global business within the banking sector. Start date asap. Inside IR35. Location - London or Edinburgh. Hybrid role with 1 day on site.
Lead SRE, able to build an SRE capability for the \'my retirement lab\'. Providing 24/7 Operational support for the GCP and Azure Platforms, raising and responding to incidents on the platform. Work with the business to agree and refine SLO, SLI & SLA\'s for the platform. Works across platform teams to help resolve incidents within agreed SLA\'s.
Requirements
- 3 years\' experience working with either GCP or Azure and certified at associate level in an SRE / operations role.
- Familiar with system operation skills in Linux, Kubernetes and network.
- Experience in CI/CD, Kubernetes, Database and Istio service mesh experience.
- Provide user support, incident responses and post-mortems;
- Maintain services to meet service-level-agreements (SLAs) or service-level-objective (SLOs) by measuring and monitoring availability, performance, and overall system health
- Experience of Dynatrace and cloud monitoring tools
- Experience of deploying pipelines via Jenkins and spinnaker.
