And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our .Define, design, and implement major parts of the software architecture for the Digital team in tight collaboration with product management and engineering team members, keeping close contact with CHEP business teams working on digitization of Brambles.The work performed is on all levels of detail from the review of individual code elements to data model and component design to module integration scenarios, with the intent to build a valuable application that is embedded in the fabric of business applications run by Brambles.

• Develop future-proof technical designs for complex enterprise software
• Give technical guidance for specific software development projects while keeping the big picture across projects in mind.
• Establish technical priorities and strategies consistent with business goals and economic viability.
• Research options and propose software designs that solve immediate needs of the organization while including new and emerging technologies and anticipating future changes.

• Decide on technology and assure implementation under time and resource constraints
• Help establish and sustain a wold-class software development team
• Be a key player in a matrix environment with complex dependencies within the Digital team
• Lead by example and be an influencer within and beyond the Digital team (for example with IT)

Substantial software development and design expertise with large and complex systems, ideally inn enterprise software and specifically around supply chain management or geographical information systemsFormal:At least a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Science, Engineering, Statistics or MathematicsBeyond this baseline, software development experience and proven success is more important than formal education. However, large and complex systems also arise in university research, so a masters or Ph.D can be a plus.

• 5+ years of experience in software development or proven, exceptional software design contributions in previous positions
• Must have acquired deep understanding through practical real-world experience in different software technologies, ideally across the software stack including (Web) user interfaces, algorithm development, different types of data management technologies, and the design of data models.
• Hands-on expertise in multiple programming languages such as Go, Python, SQL, C, C++ and/or JavaScript, TypeScript, Svelte
• Must have worked on major modules of applications were deployed to customers and helped these go live
• Experience technically directing a group of software developers to meet a common goal with successful outcome

• Excellent understanding of enterprise applications, cloud computing, algorithms on large data sets, and user interface technologies
• Knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics applications
• Proven technical leadership in multiple complex software projects
• Expertise in analyzing and designing for performance of large-scale software systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts into understandable terms to different teams in the organization including non-technical product managers
• Thorough understanding of technology trends in Enterprise software and beyond, and the ability to analyze the potential impact or benefit for the software projects of the Digital team
• Proven ability in coaching and mentoring others
