The role:
This leadership opportunity will report into the Scientific Services Director and will take responsibility for developing and line managing a team of Associate Medical Writers and Medical Writers - this will further involve providing training, coaching and mentoring to direct reports in addition to monitoring performance, progress and development.
You will still maintain hands-on medical writing responsibilities too and will play a leading role on providing strategic direction to projects and accounts so as to deliver high-quality medical communications to meet client requirements.
The Senior Scientific Services Team Lead role is part of the business\' leadership team and will work cross-functionally with Client Services and wider Editorial teams to assess operational decisions regarding the wider organisation within the UK.
Requirements:
Medical communications agency experience is essential for this role. Please ensure that this clear within your application as any applicants without this will not be considered further.
At Team Lead level, you will have:
A minimum of 5 years\' medical writing experience - within an agency environment.
At least 2 years\' experience of mentoring and coaching junior Medical Writers.
Varied experience across a range of medical communications deliverables.
Leadership, supervisory and line management skills.
