The School of Humanities and Social Sciences within the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences at the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint a Senior School Administrator to support the Administration Manager in ensuring an effective and efficient service is maintained across a wide range of departmental activities.
This is a varied and challenging role, liaising closely with School academic and administrative colleagues, wider university services, and other external stakeholders. Candidates must have relevant administrative experience gained in a supervisory role. Proven experience of working at a senior level and of supporting and coordinating a range of services, meetings and activities is required.
Excellent communication skills are essential along with the ability to manage and plan tasks and projects and to delegate effectively. An analytic and systematic approach to work is required and experience of working in a higher education environment is desirable.
The successful candidate will hold a Degree or professional qualification and/or extensive relevant administrative experience
