Senior Childcare Practitioner - Children's Residential Home

Location:

Swinton, Manchester


Provision:

Children's Residential Home (Ages 7-17, EBD & Mild Learning Difficulties)

Hours:

8 am to 8 pm and Occasional 8 am to 8pm + sleep in

Salary:

27,144 - 36,192 base

8-10 sleep-ins/month (52 per sleep)



Potential take-home:

Up to 41,184 per annum

As a

Senior Childcare Practitioner

, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with

Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD)

. You will be a role model, mentor, and key worker, ensuring the best possible care and outcomes for the children.

? What We're Looking For

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

(or equivalent - see below)


?

Experience working with children in residential care

or similar settings


?

Ability to manage challenging behaviours

and create a nurturing environment


?

Full UK Driving Licence

(Essential)


?

Fluency in English

(with the ability to understand UK dialects)


?

Minimum Age:

22/23 (in line with regulatory requirements)


Alternative Qualifications Considered:



If you hold a

Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care

, we will consider your application if you can demonstrate experience working with children.
