Do you have experience of primary cell tissue culture and characterisation? Are you motivated and dedicated to help improve outcomes for children? Would you like to be part of the exciting vibrant research programme CHORAL to support and develop child health research across Leeds? Can you provide technical support for children\'s cancer research using bespoke clinically annotated patient-derived preclinical models?
To accelerate the translation of science into the clinic for patient benefit, you will use and develop bespoke clinically annotated patient-derived preclinical models to validate the drivers of drug refractory and progressive disease in childhood cancers. Through these studies we will identify biomarkers of risk and response, and candidate therapeutic targets or treatment combinations. These studies will prioritise targets for biomarker led clinical trials in Leeds, and across the International network of early phase centres.
