This is an exciting AI and Indoor Positioning Contract opportunity for a multinational technology corporation with a great presence within the telecommunications industry. You would be joining an exciting and passionate team who are constantly looking for cutting-edge technologies and turning them into commercial products.

This truly is a unique opportunity. The organization partners with leading UK Universities, and in this role, you will undertake research and engineering in data and AI system components while using skills in designing and implementing large-scale graph optimization and/or machine learning activity recognition and feature extraction.

You will have skills or interests in computer science or mathematical backgrounds while also being comfortable with research. The purpose of the contract is to improve the user\'s experience, while also doing system research and development on GNSS alternative navigation systems; geospatial data modelling for indoors using features recognition, clustering, classification, and dimensionality reduction in multi-dimensional trajectory; and SLAM and Machine Learning.

Their offices are in Edinburgh, and the contract is on-site. Their offices are amazing, with a terrace with a fantastic view of Edinburgh Castle. The team loves to come in and use Whiteboard where they throw out ideas and look for the best and most innovative approaches while fully being immersed in their products.

This is a PAYE Contract role with a negotiable rate.
