VMA Group have partnered with a global aviation hub to as they are growing their Research and Insights Teams. We are looking for a Senior Analyst in the aviation business, this person will have responsibility for identifying, prioritising and mentoring a team

Ensuring the delivery of more insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making by conducting statistical analyses such as Regression, Kano, and Cluster Analysis. Taking the lead in implementing customer text analytic techniques and conducting comprehensive analysis and reporting on metrics covered in both internal and external research programs.

This role serves as the functional analytics expert, collaborating with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders, often at a senior level. These stakeholders include, but are not limited to, Airport Operations, Commercial, Solutions, People, and Forecasting. The aim is to facilitate knowledge sharing and understanding the unique needs of each of Heathrow\'s key stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

To identify, prioritize, and guide a team engaged in a series of ongoing and ad-hoc analysis-driven projects, creating options for enhancement and providing clear strategic recommendations to support the client\'s growth.

Serve as the subject matter expert, offering guidance to the business and team members on the most suitable analytical techniques to extract detailed insights from various sources of customer data.

Conduct statistical modelling and analysis to derive enhanced strategic direction and value from the diverse customer insight data available.

As a key analytical leader within the analytics community, bring Heathrow\'s other customer data (such as social media and customer feedback) to life, integrating it with research data to inform strategic decision-making. Support the ongoing growth and development of the clients business.

Must Haves

At least 5 years\' experience, managing a team

Experience on PowerBI, Tableau, Python and or equivalents

Highly numerate and logical, clear understanding of different statistical techniques

Enjoys mentoring and managing teams
