Senior Regulatory Reporting Consultant

Our transaction reporting consulting team is expanding, and you will play an important role in continuing to make it all happen. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Regulatory Reporting Consultant within the Cappitech Managed Services area you will have the following responsibilities:
Analyze EMIR, MIFID, SFTR transaction reporting regulations requirements with external and internal stakeholders, and drive delivery to project milestones
Produce structured analysis and design documents
Work with QA and Development during testing to ensure implementation meets design and requirements
Review investments and trading portfolio, to assess reportability of all instruments under [MiFIR, SFTR and EMIR regimes]
Run Health Checks gap analysis of requirements versus current client\'s practice in relation to [EMIR, MIFID, SFTR] reporting regimes;
Review client\'s policies and control framework, as compared to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Provide training and guidance on reporting requirements, data quality and reporting governance
Provide advisory assistance with any back-reporting requirements, including drafting of any required breach notification to regulator.
Conduct public presentation of concepts and ideas comfortably to stakeholders
Identify options for potential solutions, including assessment of technical and business suitability
Work collaboratively and consistently with team members at all levels, peers, senior analysts and managers and complex stakeholder group across geographical boundaries
Work creatively, propose ideas and contribute to working groups and team meetings
Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills:
Bachelor or master\'s degree in business administration, technology, or similar discipline
10-15 years of relevant professional experience
EMIR, MIFID, SFTR Business Analyst experience or skills
Prior Financial Services IT experience would be essential
Strong Analytical & Communication skills
Good Knowledge of requirements elicitation, structured analysis, requirement documentation, stakeholder management, use case definition and other Business Analysis techniques
Exposure to SQL, DB, Object-oriented languages (general technology know-how) would be desirable
Understanding of FPML, XML Schemas, DTDs, XSL Transformation style sheets would be beneficial
Familiarity with financial derivatives including OTC derivatives, clearing and regulatory reporting of OTC transactions would be beneficial
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Fluency in English and an additional continental Europe language (Danish, Dutch, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Swedish)
