Job Description

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity as a React and Node developer position to join a growing technical team, heavily embedded in the marketing and sales groups with a strong global impact for this large professional products and solutions company.
The team consists of developers and business analysts spanning multiple continents at a blue-chip company with a UK headquarter based in Weybridge. This position will be co-located between Basingstoke & Weybridge in a hybrid working environment.

You will play a key role in delivering technical solutions to business stakeholders via BAU enhancements and strategic projects.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a React developer, preferably with exposure to creating universal and serverless applications written in node. An understanding of modern full-stack architecture will be advantageous with working knowledge of AWS Lambda necessary.

Someone with excellent collaboration and communication skills with an interest in coaching and upskilling junior team members, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with passionate developers.

Someone who understands the strength of knowledge sharing and has humble confidence to challenge and drive to find opportunities to improve.

You will

Have responsibility for all internally developed applications, application performance and quality

Own the technical direction of the applications and bring external experience, technologies and tools to bear within the company

Spearhead the upgrade of legacy codebases, with an awareness and vision for steering global architecture ownership

Influence the strategic technical direction of all application development

Contribute to the development strategy and ways of working

You bring

3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with React

Strong proficiency with CSS and HTML

Good working knowledge and proficiency with Webpack

Experience with RESTful APIs

Proficiency with serverless technologies e.g. AWS Lambda

Experience writing tests specifically in Jest/Enzyme

Experience or knowledge of SASS/SCSS

Experience with GitLab or GitHub

Knowledge of agile development methodologies

Strong documentation skills
