The role
Establish and manage project budgets in collaboration with internal teams.
Liaise with design and technical teams to align proposals with approved budgets and procurement plans.
Monitor and manage cost variations throughout the project lifecycle.
Engage subcontractors early to support design development and value engineering.
Define clear and robust scopes of work for procurement and delivery.
Lead procurement of subcontract packages in line with company standards and sustainability targets.
Manage all commercial aspects across multiple developments.
Prepare trade packages, tender documents, and oversee the tender process.
Recommend subcontract awards ensuring full scope coverage and value comparison.
Lead post-tender negotiations, draft and finalise subcontract documentation.
Oversee subcontractor payments, variations, and final account agreements.
Produce monthly cost reports and maintain accurate forecasting across all cost elements.
Attend design, site, and subcontractor meetings to support project delivery.
Draft contractual correspondence in coordination with the Project Manager.
Support financial decision-making related to project progress.
Collaborate with internal departments to track and forecast expenditure.
Maintain procurement records and cost tracking tools.
Provide cost data to support future tendering and project planning.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be requires onsite 5 days a week (SW6 2FP)###
Experience required
Experience within a developer or main contractor undertaking residential schemes
Site based experience essential
Relevant educational background in quantity surveying or relevant subject
