Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Our client is a well-established (major) building contractor that operates from a base in the Bristol area, covering the South West region in its entirety. They carry out a range of building and refurbishment projects typically up to \xc2\xa3100 million in value.
Due to the expansion of the regional office and the award of a number of key projects they have approached us with the requirement to recruit an experienced Construction Planner to join their team.
Involved primarily in the delivery of live projects, you will be given the chance to work on one of a number of new projects they have coming through including schools, commercial buildings and health-related projects.
Your role will involve carrying out a full planning function from the pre-tender stage through to the handover. This will include Producing linked tender and construction programmes from quantities, and method statements, identifying Key Performance Indicators, and site logistics, and compiling and contributing to submission documents.
Candidates will have a strong main contracting background as a Planner and reside within commutable distance of the Bristol area.
