Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager with experience in Bridges / Structures and Highways Engineering to join a client in Oxford. Your main duties include delivering high-profile highway and transport projects across the area, liaising with various stakeholders, managing a multi-disciplinary contractor and design consultant team (highway, bridges and structures) as well as holding budget responsibilities and negotiating funding and income.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is \xc2\xa3475 - \xc2\xa3500 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements and working from home opportunities are available.

Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
\xc2\xb7Delivering major transport, highways and transport infrastructure projects
\xc2\xb7Reviewing design drawings and overseeing cost control
\xc2\xb7Managing contract administration and NEC3 compliance
\xc2\xb7Ensuring all highway elements of projects are delivered on time and within budget

Previous experience in Highways / Transport Planning / Public Realm is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Transport Planners and Engineers with similar backgrounds across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.
