I am recruiting for an Interim Senior Project Manger to work on Capital Projects If you have a proven track record in managing complex capital projects within the building industry, possess exceptional leadership and management skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Capital Project Manager, you will:

  • Undertake the contract administration and management role, acting as a Project Manager and Client Agent under the Major Capital/PPM Works Programme Framework.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of Housing Services and Building Safety Capital/PPM Projects by construction partners and their supply chain, with projects delivered on time, within budget, and meeting high-quality standards.
  • Manage a program of capital/PPM works for the council\'s housing stock, ensuring contract compliance, adherence to budgets, and timelines.
  • Be responsible for managing staff within the partnering team to ensure program delivery.
  • Play a strategic role in delivering Housing Services and Building Safety\'s annual investment program of \xc2\xa350 million and meeting GLA targets.
  • Utilise your specialist building industry knowledge and project management qualifications to drive successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience in the specialist building industry and project management.
  • Experience in leading a team of professional staff, with the ability to delegate and monitor performance effectively.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and management skills.
  • Experience in investment, financial, and business planning, including a strong understanding of Value for Money (VFM) principles.
  • Demonstrable ability to control and manage large budgets effectively.
  • Experience in managing a program of high-level strategic projects, including collaboration with external and internal partners/stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing major contracts and works programs, including a developed understanding of building contracts and contractor management.
  • Proven ability to deliver legalistic case documentation and advice.
  • Good understanding of quality assurance processes and procedures, with the ability to proactively identify and manage risks.
