We are currently recruiting Senior Project Managers, to join our busy and expanding Defence Infrastructure business, supporting our clients across a range of defence projects across Plymouth and the south west of England.
Senior Project Managers handle commissions of varying sizes, depending upon the complexity of the project, etc. Typically, projects fall within the \xc2\xa310m to \xc2\xa325m range. However, where the service provided is advisory in nature, for example advising on urban re-generation funding, the overall project size may be much larger.
Key deliverables:
Previous experience of working with UK Government organisations would be beneficial particularly defence companies
Experience of project management and/or programme management, adding value at the initial strategic planning phase all the way into implementation, construction and delivery in the context of infrastructure projects and programmes.
Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with a diverse range of personalities across clients and partner organisations.
Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders.
Able to deliver projects within a technically complex environment whilst ensuring high levels of safety and environmental responsibility.
Strong analytical and numerical skills / flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems and shape these into workable solutions for delivery.
Ability to develop and deliver high quality output against stated business and technical project objectives and meet tight deadlines safely.
This role will suit individuals with previous defence sector experience, who have proven capability in planning for major capital projects/programmes in complex.
