Strata is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Project Accountant to join our Finance department. As a Senior Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our projects.

Working closely with the PMs/ADs and Heads of each trading division on all commercials.

Working on client budgets with PMs/ADs

Maximising GP and margin

Job and client profitability analysis (including overhead time & cost)

Ensuring minimised risk on FX

Reviewing client MSAs and contracts and payment schedules

Running monthly finance reviews with PMs/ADs & client services to ensure GP and margin levels maintained

Use of Procim system to report on all of the above

Use industry knowledge to advise all stakeholders on best methods for budgeting, reconciliations, pricing, billing, (VAT lol!) etc

Project cashflow reporting

Developing Procim as a project management and reporting tool and looking for upgrades and enhancements where possible

Forecasting/budgeting all project related financials

Working closely with management accountant

Working closely with FD on all of the above to ensure best profitability/cashflow/margins etc

Skills required

Essential

Project accounting experience

Solid accounting experience (management accounting)

Great communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 ability to work with people at all levels

Preferred

Part qualified with recognised accounting body

Experience within events or similar industry

Confident and able to run meetings and deliver figures via presentation
