Salary: \xc2\xa312.47 per hour

1 x 6:00am \xe2\x80\x93 2:00pm Shift

1 x 2:00pm \xe2\x80\x93 10:00pm Shift

About the role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Senior Production Operator will be the line leader, ensuring product is produced in line with specification, whilst ensuring standards and procedures are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

• Give clear direction to the team developing and maintaining Quality-based production, whilst monitoring individual, team and machine performance
• Conduct regular GMP and Health and Safety walks reinforcing positive behaviour and dealing with non-compliance
• Ensure all manning is utilised effectively and in line with line labour standards
• Work collaboratively and engage with other Senior Op\xe2\x80\x99s/ Production Manager to achieve business objectives
• Ensure all stock and inventory levels are correct and utilised as per specification
• Weekly stock check
• Support the delivery of Continuous Improvement Action Plans through the Team with Production Manager Guidance
• Attend daily performance review meeting in the absence of Production Manager
• Engage with the team\xe2\x80\x99s offering support and guidance and in doing so provide continual staff training. Creating a self-motivated engaged team
• Deputise for the Production manager when required
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating personnel along with full completion of Daily Pre-Start safety checks and Issues must immediately be raised with Production Manager
• Immediately report to the Production Manager any delays with production and safety
• Administrative Tasks

About You:

• Team player
• Keen to take responsibility and ownership of your work
• Experience of working in a similar senior operative, line leader or team leader role
• Experience of working within a production environment
• Comfortable in a hands on enviornment
• Willing to learn and adaptable
