An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production and Development coordinator to join the National Geographic International team and support with the administrative and logistical management of our relationships with production companies. Join us to assist NatGeo Wild and the National Geographic core brands in bringing exciting content to our audiences across EMEA.

As a Production and Development Coordinator you would be the first point of contact for the department and will be supporting Production Management team who oversee a portfolio of original productions & series, throughout all key stages of development from greenlight, to pre-production, filming and delivery.

The responsibilities

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all key department, development, production and finance databases and tracking documents. Updating daily and weekly.
  • Creating and updating weekly reports and department communication documents, and tracking workload for the internal team.
  • Interface with key company stakeholders to facilitate the safe and secure delivery of project assets to internal teams such as PR & Marketing when required.
  • Manage production systems & trackers supporting budgeting, schedules, creative treatments, programme delivery, production wrap materials, insurance, health and safety and security. Ensuring that materials are reviewed by the team and all documentation is tracked/saved.
  • Be the central point of contact for the department for all reporting systems within the Nat Geo and Disney +, such as Blast, Frame.io, PIX, Aspera and others.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings with internal and external parties.
  • Manage and process expenses & keeping accurate records, when required.
The experience we require from you
  • A good understanding of Production Management and production processes.
  • Hands-on Production experience within the factual and unscripted broadcast industry, having had exposure to prep, shoot, post and delivery stages.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage and administer systems.
  • Solid understanding of industry terms, systems, protocols.
  • Proficient in Keynote (for Mac) and Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
