We're looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our Recoveries & Application Management Lab, where you'll lead teams and innovate to go faster, inspire others to collaborate and demonstrate a growth mindset.
The Recoveries & Application Management Lab is a fast paced and forward-thinking Lab where teams are empowered to think big, test and learn and drive outstanding changes for our customers and the Bank. We're responsible for the modernization of the technology systems that support our customers in financial difficulty and our exceptional customer service teams that support those customers.
This role is an opportunity to collaborate with Engineering and Design to deliver high profile customer-facing change and be at the forefront of key transformations which the Group is delivering including allowing customers and colleagues to interact with new and innovative architecture.
You'll be responsible for the release of incremental value, ensuring our continuous agile maturity and act as a key interface for Financial Wellbeing to other areas of the business who rely on our products to build their end-to-end customer journeys. This is achieved by fostering collaborative, empowered product and engineering teams, nurturing them to take ownership of the relevant outcomes, in a truly innovative environment.
Responsibilities for the role:Lead multiple feature teams across our products to deliver changes to our customer and colleague journeys Creating great customer outcomes through deep understanding of customers' needs Delivering change from idea to implementation delivering to agreed scope, cost, quality and timescales Owning, building and prioritising a backlog of changes to our products, leading a team to deliver at pace Building strong relationships across areas of the Bank and partner teams and deliver through collaboration Strong understanding of risks and control processes, mitigating BAU and change risks Oversee the budget for the feature team including inbound and outbound funding

Skills we're looking for:Accountability for the vision for multiple complex products balancing the needs of customers, partners and risk Experience in creating and driving inspired product roadmaps based on understanding our customers' needs, personas, value propositions and customer landscapes Influencing skills across all levels of the organisation using data and insights to deliver maximum value for the customer and business Experience in applying agile methodologies to optimise innovation development and delivery e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence, and experience of leading an agile team Financial planning and cost control - a track record of delivering within multi-million-pound budget and using resources effectively Strong dependency and risk management experience

About YouAn experienced product leader with a track record of managing multiple teams Good technical understanding to support communication between business leaders and engineering teams You're an exceptional teammate and constantly looking ways to drive improvements in how the team works together You can demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, be able to think critically and breakdown complexity into logical structure, whilst understanding the strategic big picture You have a well-developed communication kit bag with extensive experience presenting and engaging with senior leaders You can confidently deliver best in class customer experiences.
