Securities Lending Operations is a dynamic department that works with partners across the HSBC Global Banking and Markets business to deliver Securities Lending solutions to clients.The Senior Product Manager, Private Assets role is a key member of the global Private Assets product team. The role will primarily focus on driving the development of the Private Assets product with specific responsibilities for the development of the product roadmap, the definition of the product proposition and supporting the associated business operating models for various client segmentsThe role will include client engagement, analyzing client requirements, designing solutions/operating model and working with the project team on implementation.As an HSBC employee in the UK, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package.   • Drive the development and maintenance of a strategy and associated roadmap for Real Estate and Infrastructure, and develop this cohesively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Design, maintain and enhance the operating models for Private Assets, build a scalable and global processing and IT infrastructure thereby maximizing cost efficiencies
  • Design and maintain global service definition documentation and relevant elements of sales collateral
  • Work closely with the Sales and Business Development team on various client pitches, RFPs, due diligence meetings and other discussions/negotiations
  • Participate as key stakeholder to tactical and strategic change programmes, ensuring requirements are accurately captured and solutions are effective in improving product profitability.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Very strong operational experience in the financial services industry while working directly for Private Assets fund administration services. In-depth knowledge of private asset classes (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Private Credit)
  • A solid grasp of the technology and systems supporting the product with direct knowledge of core Private Assets platforms.
  • Knowledge of Yardi (Investment Management Accounting, Payscan) will be a distinct advantage, and knowledge of Investran will be an advantage.
  • Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content along with communication and presentation skills
  • Energetic, results focused, change agent, with a strong work ethic. Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Expereince in model/process design and definition, collaborating in change programmes
